About Collection:

For AW 13/14, the young designer Simon Porte Jacquemus presented a collection inspired by everyday life moments. As usual, the designer told a story in which one can easily immerse himself.

A boyish looking girl coming out of a pool; her hair is wet and she wears a big bonnet to avoid the cold. 

The designer revisits what is for him a basic look from everyday life, a "sport-uniform", with a nonchalant slightly provocative look a sporty girl would give off.

About the collection:
 Raffaele Ascione's A/W 2013 Collection is all about his Italian roots and his obsession with beautiful couture that has been mashed up with Sportswear. This collection started off with looking at Menswear, Sportswear and beautiful Couture embellishments. He looked at underwater corals for textile ideas and the drive to create new fabrics. It was very clear from the start that the collection will be dark and express a strong romantic message as that is something Ascione has in his Italian blood. He combined beautiful couture Dresses with relaxed tailored Menswear Coats. It was all about creating beautiful separates that were cut in a beautiful manner and topped off with hand made fabrics. The collection carries three fabrics that were created in house, such as the hand-cut Lace, which was then bonded onto a wool Tweed.
